Requirements for competitive works in the nomination "Caricature".
Both professional artists and amateurs can participate in the competition in the nomination "Caricature".
Only works, the copyright on which belongs to the participant directly, shall be accepted to participate in the competition. Files of caricatures, specifically performed by the author on the topics of the competition, shall be accepted to participate in the competition. Not more than 3 works on every topic! Colored, CMYK or RGB, saved in formats TIFF, PDF, EPS, or JPG, all the layers must be kept, with a resolution of 600 dpi at a ratio of a standard A3 sheet. Files shall be located in the personal portfolio of a participant that is created on the site gir-magazine/contest/ after the registration of the participant. We shall accept only previously unpublished works.
The works shall be accompanied by a photo and a short biography of the author.

1ST PRIZE "GOLDEN OPOSSUM" and $2,500
2ND PRIZE "SILVER OPOSSUM" and $1,500
3RD PRIZE "BRONZE OPOSSUM" and $1,000
4TH PRIZE "ENCOURAGING OPOSSUM" $500
* The work received a prize on the topic "INVESTMENTS", receives a bonus of $1,000 in addition to the amount of the prize.
In addition, Audience Choice Award and sponsored prizes are provided

SUMMARIZING AND DETERMINATION OF WINNERS — January 2017
RELEASE OF THE CATALOG AND EXHIBITION OF WINNERS’ WORKS — March-April 2017
DETERMINATION OF WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION SHALL TAKE PLACE IN STAGES.
The best 8 works shall be selected from the works submitted for the competition and published in the magazine “Global Investment Review” (published 6 times a year) and additional 12 works shall be selected for publication in the electronic version of the magazine (the fee for publication in the print edition is $ 100.00, in the electronic edition - $ 25.00). The works, published in the magazine, get into the final of the competition.
The jury shall select the winner of the main prize of the competition from these works, and these works will be placed in the catalog and will participate in exhibitions.
THE JURY'S DECISION SHALL BE FINAL AND NOT SUBJECT TO DISCUSSION OR APPEAL.
All submitted for the contest works will be posted on the website of the magazine, where voting will be organized. Works, not selected by the jury, but received a large number of audience votes will be awarded with prizes and diplomas, and will be included in the printed catalog.
Works, selected for publication in the magazine and catalog, shall become the property of the organizer, and when submitting works for the competition, the participant understands and accepts the fact that if the work is selected for publication, participants cannot claim any payment from future publications of the works, submitted for the competition.
The authors, whose works are published in the catalog, will receive 1 copy of the catalog free of charge and can purchase the required amount with a 60% discount.
THE ORGANIZERS CAN INVITE MEMBERS OF THE JURY AND THE OWNERS OF THE AWARD AT THE OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION ACCORDING TO THE RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION.
